I loved the look on Obama's face today when he said he felt he didn't deserve it.  But the FUCK YUO! to all the rightwingfucknuts was pretty awesome, all told.  Even if it did cheapen the prize in the picking.

No-one involved in politics or religion ever deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. 

As an aside, it is worth noting the head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, who decides who gets the Peace Prize, is a vice-president of the Socialist International.  I suspect that Thorbjørn Jagland, for that is name, may have seen some recent US coverage deriding Obama as socialist and so decided to rile the wingnuts even further.

Yes, I have read that it is supposed to be an encouragement to do good and all, but the problem is that the sheeple see it as an affirmation of some sort.  I don't blame the guy though, he did accept it with as much faux humility as possible.  I liked SNLs take on it.
