TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Also, I drank a Michelob Shock Top last night.  It's really not bad. As far as Witbiers go I could name a few better ones, but when the only other option at the bar was Blue Moon, I figured I'd try the Anheuser-Busch alternative to a Coors product for shits and giggles as they didn't have any imports.

Dogfish Head Punkin Head is SUPERB.

Saw that at BevMo and didn't buy it.  Had the one Khara talked about and it was pretty fucking awesome.  The other one I had that was autumnish last month was the Abita(?) Pecan Ale.  Mmm...very delicious.

Suu

Abita is out of New Orleans. I've never had it, but General Stuart fucking LOVES it. One of my new favorites from the Southeast region is Dixie Blackened Voodoo. It's nice and malty. Great for the fall.

Also, it's giving me the giggles that Michelob has become the craft beer subset of Anheuser-Busch, but some of their newer shit is pretty drinkable. I've never had a problem with a Mic Light here and there if a bar didn't have many options, so I can tolerate their effort trying to compete with Sam Adams. Their website is also trying to teach people about beer instead of just shoving Mic Ultra and Bud Light ads down their throat like it used to. I'm surprised.

I found Abita at Cost Plus--they carry a lot of smaller beer co's/microbrews from around the states (and internationally) when the mood takes them.  I mostly go and buy their wines, but occaisionally they have great beer too.

ETA:  World Market is the same as Cost Plus (in case people didn't know, I never know if people have heard of such places)

OOooohh I had the pecan ale in St Augustine. Yummy
Also Dogfish Head's punkin head is good, their new one "Sahtea" is pretty interesting

Weyerbacher makes a tasty pumpkin ale as well

I've been drinking Lagunitas's Red Ale and Lucky 13, when I can get it the "lil sumpin sumpin" ale is good.
When I want cheap I grab a Dale's pale ale.

Oh, the bar has had this one called jai alai from cigar city brewery on tap for a while that really isn't half bad. hoppy and yummy. and 3 bucks a pint, well that ain't bad either.

Nope, Ybor was bought out by the Florida Beer Company, Cigar City is totally new.

Also, any brewery in Tampa needs to make something out of guava.
