I should be a humour consultant for the GOP.  I bet they'd pay well, and once I got bored, I could get them intentionally bad advice.

That would be extremely humorous.

The sad fact is that you wouldn't do well because they are not trying to reach out with their attempts at humor, rather than simply hold their base.... and the base that they are trying to hold probably finds shit like this hilllllaaaaarious....

THAT VIDEO NEEDS MORE FURIOUSLY EMPHATIC "AIR QUOTES"!
"If I owned Goodwill, no charity worker would feel safe.  I would sit in my office behind a massive pile of cocaine, racking my pistol's slide every time the cleaning lady came near.  Auditors, I'd just shoot."

The cross of Saint Peter is just an upside down cross. According to tradition he requested that cause didn't want to be crucified the same way Jesus was.
The peace symbol was invented by some "save the planet" type and it was the semaphoric letters N and D (Nuclear Disarmament)
wait....
why am I even bothering with this?
:?
all this information is easily obtainable from wikipedia for fucks sake

but to be fair this isn't the first time I heard the peace symbol used as a satanic symbol. It was used by conspiracy types that think the Secular UN is getting ready to hunt down Christians for use in satanic work camps

Through me the way to the city of woe, Through me the way to everlasting pain, Through me the way among the lost.
Justice moved my maker on high.
Divine power made me, Wisdom supreme, and Primal love.
Before me nothing was but things eternal, and eternal I endure.
Abandon all hope, you who enter here.

One of the things I miss about college was the rise of the Pink Panthers -- a group of gay guys who would go around looking to bash the gay bashers.

It didn't really solve any of the underlying issues, but it was quite funny to witness a pack of assholes get pummeled by dudes in sequined berets.

Wait, the Pink Panthers are real?  :lulz: I thought that was just a thing from the movie Jeffrey all this time. That's hilarious. That reminds me of this news article I read where these two dudes went to go fuck with this transgendered person and it turned out they were a Cage Fighter and they got their asses whooped. She then delicately picked up her purse after the dust settled, witnesses say.

Quote from: Illuminatus! Trilogy, Page 338Hagbard pointed to an inscription carved into the wall of the cave. There was a row of symbols that George didn't recognize, but above them was something quite familiar: a circle with a downward-pointing trident carved inside it.

"The peace symbol," said George. "I didn't know it was that old." "In the days when it was put up there," said Hagbard, "it was called the Cross of Lilith Velkor, and its meaning is simply that anyone who attempts to thwart the Illuminati will suffer from the most horrible torture the Illuminati can devise. Lilith Velkor was one of the first of their victims. They crucified her on a revolving cross that looked very much like that."

"You told me it wasn't really a peace symbol," said George, looking wistfully back at the carving, "but I didn't know what you meant."

"There was a Dirigens-grade Illuminatus in Bertrand Russell's circle who put it in somebody's mind that the circle and trident would be a good symbol for the Aldermaston marchers to carry. It was very cleverly and subtly done. If the Committee for Nuclear Disarmament had thought about it, what did they need any kind of a symbol for? But Russell and his people fell for it What they didn't know was that the circle-and-trident had been a traditional symbol of evil among left-hand-path Satanists for thousands of years. So many right-wingers are secret left-hand-path magicians and Satanists that of course they spotted the symbol for what it was right away. That made them think the Illuminati were behind the peace movement, which threw them off the track, and they accused the peaceniks of using a Satanist symbol, which to a small extent discredited the peace movement. A cute gambit."
