Today, for a brief second, I thought of a life without Roger. It was much like my current life, except that this forum was a bit nicer.

Also, go down to Multimedia Menace and post a pic of yourself in "spagbook" so we can do horrible shit to you with photoshop.  Thanks.

:lulz: I think thats the last thing I need haha.

... I will probably end up doing it tommorow however

Relax, nothing they do to you will be half as bad as what they do to me.

You think they'd have more respect for a Holy Man.

But you just look so good in peacock blue eyeshadow...

See what I mean?  Shameful.

Hi Talesin.  I think I remember you from when I was over at TCC.  I guess you didn't hit eb&g like a lot of other TCC assholes did (and some were great like SPS and Absolute_Silence--who are still at eb&g), so I don't remember you as well.

I think if you are looking for the antidote to boredom, this will suit you, just wear a flak jacket and mind the poop smears.

Its a big shame TCC is the way it is though, I thought I'd be able to help somehow, I held it with close sentiments since it has actually shaped what kind of person I am. I grew up with it, as lame as it sounds - I went to them when I couldn't go to my parents. I don't know what possesed me to do that LOL. It sounds messed, doesn't it? I remember the last attack you guys did (Or was it a different group?), I was a casualty from it. I was asked to join up with them on another forum on helping restoring TCC - but I told them TCC wasn't for me and left ... a few years later, I had an urge to go back and see how it was. It was like coming back to home after awhile. You know, wondering how the parents at home were going. It was ... ok, I had fun here and there, but eh ... I won't cry if it shut down.

I was hoping that by joining here, I could atleast help the others to not take it so seriously ... but I realised and accepted that its their own choice - how many times has everyone pointed out not to take things to heart. Yet they still do. That and it felt like I was talking with a brick wall.

throwing the golden apple at TCC is helping it. In a way.

the angles which are being attacked are weaknesses. For example, there's a growing "fuck off newbie" vibe. Discordians find it fun to intensify that energy. Either that energy will become a dominant force, in which case they will have a lot of trouble recruiting new members, or they will learn to drop it. In the long run, this kind of action is good for the survival of a board. It's like how your body fights disease by raising the temperature. We call it fever, but it's nuking zillions of bacteria.

Or the McWicca thread - greatly underscores the clannish and neophobic tendencies of neo-pagans. If we can draw those tendencies to the surface, perhaps people can move past them.

Or provoking Corvus... In time, he will either learn how to deal with power responsibly, or he will totally alienate his fellow mods. It's a fun ride!

Also, when a group of people confronts stress together, it strengthens their bonds. So in the long run, what we are doing is brining the TCC family tighter. They may just have to stab each other to death first.

Years ago, there was a really classic discordian gambit over there, in which they kept changing the rules to box out questionable behavior. So the Discordians kept changing their behavior to something which was technically in-bounds, but still in poor taste. They'd change the rules again to ban this behavior. then the discordians morphed again. Over time, the rules became more and more absurd. It began repelling their long time members. They were faced with an interesting choice: tighten our grip further, alienating our userbase in the process? or lighten the fuck up?

by my count, this is the fourth boarding over at TCC. And the Discordians, as usual, are using tactics which they couldn't figure out even if they read this thread.

shit, I was gonna call "alt" as soon as I read he sent a cake recipe to Cain. but he already outed himself.

at least I'm glad it's a good outing.

Like in scooby doo when you take off the mask of the monster, and the janitor is below it, and then you take that mask off and Daphne is below it, naked. Or Velma, depending on your preferences.

Well, my email is in the Site Stuff board, in the pinned thread about account problems.  I had another email the same day, so its not actually that unlikely.

What you says is pretty much the truth. I can see it the same in that light. It is interesting to see what will occur all in all. Is TCC as strong as I'd like to believe it is, or am I holding onto an illusion? Damn, makes me wonder if having bad parents makes a good kid after all :P

... Anyone have any betting odds?

It was over almost as soon as it began, but Hardy's attempts to discredit people was hilarious.

TCC doesn't even need us over there, because they troll themselves so effectively.  Still, it's fun to go over every so often and show them how much I love them.  <3

Didn't mean to miss you TP, I forget that you started out at TCC and were a "convert"...tbqh.  I forget that often about lots of the folks that stuck with us after TCC came and went on EB&G.  You guys became such a staple, who stuck on from MW or TCC or any other place sorta just wish-washed out of my head.

To be fair, though, I wasn't singling out A_S and SPS, just throwing them out as examples of the "cool" ones.  I'd definitely add you in with them though.

I'm a he.

My definition of Mage : A web browsing geek.

Whoops.  For some reason I got the idea you were a she at TCC.  Something you said.

Anyways, my definition of Mage:  Able to shit my own body weight.

TGRR,
Mage.

I did a long time ago, no one really bothered to read what I wrote.

Can you blame them?

I read most of your posts, but I can't be fucked to read or try to make sense of pineal ramblings. I figure if someone wants to be understood, they will make themselves understandable

Except for my friend Hirley-0, who has a bone fide incomprehensible crazy.

Also, I am a horrible bitch who doesn't believe in transexuality. At least, most of the time I don't. Once in a while I slip and believe in it for a minute, the same way I believe in magic.
