FUQUAD: Fixt

Enki, Lysergic, Nivek:I love you! <3 :D

If you love us so much, why don't you MARRY us?
*runs off tittering like a school girl*

Mistress Freaky, you know you want to marry us, then you can use your big cat'o'ninetails when we've been bad.  :fap:

But I'm sure I won't have to do THAT, now will I?

WILL I?

Of course not, Mistress Freaky, Ma'am!  :lulz: Now you wanted me to lick your boot?

Yes.

And make sure you shine it properly! You missed spots last time, but I'm sure you learned your lesson from your punishment, didn't you?

Yes, Ma'am!  :lulz:

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

I am in favor of this thread.

Being already rather full of a combination of rage and despair, the mounting environment of rage and despair on this forum lately, while in many cases brilliantly expressed, has tended to compound the overwhelming desperate horror at life that I was already feeling. It would be good, I think, if we, or just some of us, even a few, tried to shift our focus to more of a "Guys have right; change are coming" perspective. Spring is in the air, right?

RIGHT?

Because if not, there really isn't a lot of reason not to drive this carload of kids off a bridge, know what I mean? Or to spend the rest of my brutal, short, and ugly life doped up on pills and liquor.

Or to fucking get up in the morning and TRY.

Spring is coming, you guys. Someday, it will be summer again. It's OK to be nice to each other. It's even OK to be nice to strangers.

I am saying this to myself far, far more than I am saying it to you.
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Those are big words. I agree whole heartedly.

If that doesn't make you feel just a little bit better, pretend I didn't post it.

It certainly made me smile, though.  :lulz:

Rumckle

Naked blue men?

I thought we'd already discussed The Watchmen to death?
It's not trolling, it's just satire.

ThatGreenGentleman

Oh god, I saw that movie, The Watchmen, with a friend, and when we saw that naked blue guy we started to freak out. I eventually got bored. The only really good part of the movie was the prison scene.
As a gentleman, it is my duty to wear top-hats.

:argh!:
I happened to LOVE ALL of watchmen, thank you very much. The prison scene was cool, but the scene just before that with Rorschach fights those officers was epic too.

Anyway, it's not *supposed* to be an action flick you hairless philistine.
- So the New World Order does not actually exist?
- Oh it exists, and how!
Ask the slaves whose labour built the White House;
Ask the slaves of today tied down to sweatshops and brothels to escape hunger;
Ask most women, second class citizens, in a pervasive rape culture;
Ask the non-human creatures who inhabit the planet:
whales, bears, frogs, tuna, bees, slaughtered farm animals;
Ask the natives of the Americas and Australia on whose land
you live today, on whose graves your factories, farms and neighbourhoods stand;
ask any of them this, ask them if the New World Order is true;
they'll tell you plainly: the New World Order... is you!

This is what happens when you let kids get ahold of movies BEFORE reading the actual graphic first. I had been waiting for that movie forever.

True, but it would have been hard to weave in the stuff that leads up to that in the movie so they had to "simplify" it. As far as an adaptation goes, its better then any of the other Alan Moore adaptation to date, they managed not to fuck *most* of it up, which I give them credit for.
