What is this pdf maker you speak of? And will publisher do the trick also?

He's talking about scribus, a free open source layout program. It's the poor man's InDesign.

The templates weren't lost! I've got a bunch of 'em on my hard drive.


as for a pdf exporter, another easy option (if you've already done layout in some other program) is bullzip. Bullzip is a freeware program which lets you "print to pdf" and doesn't add any watermarks or anything.
