I was actually thinking of asking people to flush all their old pm's if they have a lot, there area great many people who have sent pm's over the years that have probably built up to a very substantial amount.

I rarely get PMs, except for short periods of time wherI get a bunch all at once.

that's because people ont his forum get their cycles synchronised, so that it's always everyone at the same time getting PMS.
My thoughts exactly.

Why?  What's the benefit?

With three thousand members and years of pm's built up for many people it could take up a good bit of space.

Just whittled 18 pgs of "sent" to 3 and 15 pages of "inbox" to 3.  Apparently I send more than I get, :lulz:

People save their sent PMs?  Always struck me as too much effort.

Jenne

If someone doesn't quote you in their return pm, you don't always remember what you said to them...etc.  I'm old, I need all the clues I can get about what I'm sending to people.

esp when I'm here and drunk as fuck

It's crazy when that happens, innit. I've got an ages old account on a nother forum, and whenever I go over the old PMs I get all reminiscinty.

Don't worry guys! I cut my messages down from 4 to 0! That should save tons of space!

Paranoia is a disease unto itself, and may I add, the person standing next to you, may not be who they appear to be, so take precaution.

Yeah it was kind of depressing, really...  five years of fights mostly.
