Thankya.  That's how I like to do it.  When I stop to think, edit, redact, correct, or clarify too much, it just looses soemthing.

I gotta learn to do this more and fuck the consequences.  Really.  My stream of consciousness is itching to be let loose, but I stall it and it hardens till I'm constipated.

Internet forums helped me develop this style of writing a lot (then it rolled over into thinking / speaking).  Generate, fire, watch results.

Doing it here, you'll get the slack to explain or clarify if it goes wrong. 

I think I'll take this tack and damn the consequences to hell and back.  (will regret this later, I'm sure, but fuckitall)

Just open up a new MSWord document, or whatever, and GO.

Just five sentences.  Then stop, if you have to.  No filters.  No coherence.  NO BACKSPACE.

I've tried that.  I have a lot of "starter shit" that well, went to shit.  I've noticed I'm better when I'm GIVEN a subject, and then I can riff.  Self-starting just ends up in a crapheap.
