FP was able to fake the message about being contacted by the psychic pegging Lysergic as an innocent because he already knew who the real wolves were. He was able to make a convincing feint because of that.

He then proceeded to nom the fuck out of Lys and he waited for someone to accuse him so he could try and pin it on them. That someone happened to be me.

I got a PM from one of the players here, claiming to be the psychic, asking not to be revealed.  But they also told me to pass on the result of their first guess.  My problem now is that if I do pass it on, then I become a target, and if I just quietly ignore it because I don't want the drama, then I become a target in their eyes, wasting their vote.  And if it's really a werewolf just fucking with me, then I'm fucked every which way anyway.

It confuses the heck out of me, so I'm just going to take the cowardly way out and let the village decide what I should do, but I'm not going to release the psychics name, even under secrecy of PM, so please don't ask - unless they want to reveal themselves, at which point I will confirm it.

You did. It was clever.

You fucked up when you tried to pull the "psychic" bit though. See, when you claimed that I sent you that message you already knew Lysergic was going to die. You didn't claim WHO it was that sent you the message until after I announced what the psychic told me.

If you had really been contacted by the psychic and the person they told you was an innocent was immediately killed then you would have announced to everyone that the person who contacted you was most likely a wolf, but you didn't.

The villagers debated and argued amongst themselves the following day, but they could not seem to come to an agreement. The council stretched on through the evening, and when dusk began to fall they knew they had failed at their chance to strike back at the wolves. They returned to their houses, and prepared for bed.  The ominous reality was said by none but understood by all: for one of them, this night would never end.
