I haven't decided if I'm going yet or not. If I do, I need to send in my poster abstract by next week.

To be honest, I really don't think anyone at this meeting would give a shit about my research, but people are urging me to go anyway.

Is there any reason NOT to go?

Time and money?

Ah, yes, hotel circle!  Well, nice thing is, Kai, you can get the tram from there to downtown!  That's a great location!  It's not in downtown, but near Old Town and you can GET downtown (the Gaslamp District) VERY easily!

How far away are you?

I'm only about 20 minutes away from there (note: in CA we say distances in time to get there, not miles, lol).  I'm a bit north of there, off the 15 freeway.  Unfortunately, there's no public transport that you can take MY way (well, there is, but it's a bus and it sucks ass).  I'll have to come down and getcha.

It sure is.  And Hillcrest and Banker's Hill are awesome too--as well as Northpark...and that whole area near there.  Plenty to explore and do around here.
