I am back, but POEE is as the title says, deader than a dead dick. There's probably no need for a Discordian forum other than PD these days. PD's gravity is irresistable and insatiable, like a black hole of DOOM. So what the fuck are we going to do with POEE? 'Cause I have no idea.

It makes a nice archive, and I enjoy the first page.

By the way, if you plan to shut it down, PLEASE give me some advance notice.  That's the only existing copy of some of the old stuff.

Also, it would make a good project site.  We have some interesting projects going on, and though EB&G has loaned us some space, we could always use more.

I always direct people over there for downloads, pamphlets, documents, etc.

No shutses! NEVAR! Just apathy and discorda-block, tbh. I keep wanting to post something angry about the state of things, but I just don't give a fuck that we bellowing apes are tearing each other new and larger arseholes every day. Today, it's just FUNNAY!

Archive is great! That's how it started anyways. I need to get collecting stuff as I haven't upped anything good for over a year.

Back in the day it was easier to frequent all 4 places.  pd, eb&g, POEE, and that other place that doesn't actually exist.  Now I only seem to have time for the one.  POEE has always been a great Discordian information resource.  The layouts have always been inviting and I think the shops and the POEEcasts are great as well.  I think it definitely still has an important and unique place in the world of Discordianism.  But when it comes to forums, this place does seem to have the center of gravity.

I was thinking that people who wanted to sell stuff through POEE, could use their PayPal accounts to generate buttons and I could post their products up on the site.

I do think there's a need for a discordian forum other than PD, if only because so many people don't resonate with this place. But maybe duplicating the exact same kind of community structure (ie a forum) is beating a dead horse with an erection. Perhaps it could be replaced with a different means of communication, ie an imageboard? Some other kind of content aggregator? I'd suggest a social networking site, but Vex just launched http://spagbook.com (and is having trouble breathing life into it already) so we probably don't need two of those.

I've always considered PD, POEE, and EB&G to be the "big three" Discordian communities. It's really a shame that PD is the only one with a lot of juice, I always liked that each place has its own feel, it's own take on Eris.

1. Is there any way I we could have p3nt's old forum up and running? I don't see it as a place that will get zillions of members so it's not like it needs its own domain. But I do so love my swearing forum!

2. I want to hear more info about your new publishing house

Okay, that works too. I suppose it we define PD and POEE as different things, it each a unique value point.
