HAPPY FORF OF JULEE!

July 4th marked our tenth anniversary. We went to a most excellent party out in South Seattle, didn't get past Round 1 of the Spank Your Tank competition , hung out with a lot of good friends , drank and smoked way too much , watched lots of stuff going FOOM , watched the debut performance of SkankBurgers , and then I got a pinball machine for an anniversary present . It rained during the day but cleared up enough at night to do the fireworks.

Moved my mom on the 3rd to her new apartment, then had bbq with burgs, dogs, beers, and illegal fireworks (thank you, Cousin!).  The kids LOVED the sparklers, though it was cute how afraid of them they were the whole time--but they were fascinated enough with them to get over it and have fun.

On the 4th itself went to an Afghan wedding in L.A.  Middle of my palm is still henna'd nice and orange from it...
