A thought occurred to me several days ago.

I came to this board to learn more about Wicca and other alternative faiths and spiritualities. I was a wanderer in search of a path. I had hoped to find some directions. I didn't want a road map. I just wanted a few pointers and some guidance.

What I got from this place?

The knowledge that spiritualism is mostly garbage. That its ok for some people to insult other peoples faiths, but not others.( I heard that Discordianism is not a real religion) That calling out stupidity is frowned upon. Pointing out that there is a rational explanation for something you do not understand is unacceptable. That it is ok for some people to lay claim to mental illness but not others. (Shaara vs CharlieG).

And most importantly, it is ok for grown adults to lose their cool and do stupid things, if they have the power.

I like a lot of people here.

But this hardly seems a good place to seek anything from anymore.

Oh and I love what SS said. I dunno, but I think I may have contributed more to that forum than she did. And by that I mean quality of posts, not just quantity.
