As an aside, I just had a girl come to my office yesterday and tell me the same thing, that she's found wolf spiders in her house (the one she brought was one of the larger genera, Glaridosa.

I told her the same things I said in this thread.

Over this summer, I've found three wolf spiders in my house. All of them were found in either my sink or bathtub, so at first I thought they might be crawling up the drain, but a Google search seemed to indicate that it is more likely they fell in from above and couldn't get out. This most likely means there are more wolf spiders that have not been retarded enough to get stuck in a porcelain tomb. I have never seen them inside here before (they're not an indoor spider, really), and I don't think there have been any significant changes in anything around the house. Is there anything anyone (Kai) can think of that would make them more likely to come inside this summer than others?

I have to say, I LOVE wolf spiders, and I enjoy having them in my house except when sometimes they get trapped in the bathtub or sink.

I think maybe my spirit animal is wolf spider.

Oh, wait, no; it's Bucket Guy. That's right.

I dun' like wolf spiders. Some how they look really mean and frightening.

Crab or jumping spiders on the other hand are adorable.

Jumping spiders are like the bumblebee of the arachnid world.

I dislike wolf spiders because they move to much. I have no problem with sedentary spiders living in the corners of rooms, as long as they're not black widows or brown recluses, or some terrible foreign spider that immigrated here illegally to steal jobs from hardworking American spiders, but wolf spiders are much more likely to get in the way of my day-to-day activities.
