I hate NYC. If I can work it into my schedule (I do have some time constraints) I'll hit Providence and then cut over towards you. IIRC, I can get back up to the southern tier expwy from there without too much trouble. If not, I'm pretty sure I can find my way to I-80 easily enough.

I'm in teh ocean, but Danielle is northeast of me and moving away (though it's driving some hellish swells our way) and Earl is southeast of us and too far away for us to be getting any action out of it. Might make a mess of Hampton Roads when it gets up this way though, but we'll be docked by then in a fairly protected place.

yeah, it is. We're not getting any wind or rain but Danielle is pushing some huge swells our way. They were 14 feet yesterday (just about everyone was sick), today they've calmed down to 8-10 feet and should lay down to 6ft by the time we round Cape Hatteras.
