Just be warned, there is almost never success for a first book.
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, shattered underpance lies,
With blown elastic, and exploded back,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Doktor Howl, Spag of Spags:
Look on my ass, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

I suck at accepting defeat.

Meh. In reality just a weird day. Truth I already have plans for a second book that would require a year of motorhome trips across the country.

I'd fucking kill to have that opportunity.  A year of studying primates in their natural habitats.

That's my plan. I want to talk to the oldersters while I still can.

That is really awesome. Well, you doing it would make it awesome, (other people doing it might make it boring)
