Do you have a particular VR-environment in mind for this or is the theory that these skills will be transferrable to any VR architecture?

I'm learning the basics. I can't build any kind of VR environment unless I can use the tools. I'm grabbing a process at a time and modelling things until it's comfortable and fluid before moving on to the next process in the pipeline. There's a lot of overlap. To learn bones and rigging I need a mesh to pose about so I get to practice sculpting and anatomy while I'm knocking these out. The key for me is not getting bogged down in trying to complete things. Just quick scribbles to test the techniques then dump and move onto the next thing. Make a lot of mistakes and learn the solutions as fast as possible. Taking on a complete project right now would probably overwhelm me and lead directly to frustration and boredom.

I'm calling him "Shostrich" cos there's a bit of shark and a bit of ostrich in him (along with fuck knows all what else)
