Is software called Medium, running on Oculus. Software was developed by Oculus in house and shipped free with the hand controllers in october.

It's available on steam for about 30-quid(ish) and runs on the vive by all accounts.

This is fast turning into my life's work. I have a pretty clear end result in mind right enough, just need to throw a couple more hours at it

You've successfully infected me with a 3D sculpting mindworm. Last night I dreamed I was sculpting in VR, despite having never done so IRL. It's going to be a bit before I have the startup cash to get into this proper, but I'm hoping to get my toes wet between now and this time next year, if not sooner.

Aye, it's a dear game to get into. Especially if you don't have a current game-spec pc. For the money I laid down, I consider it worth every f'kin penny. YMMV

And the epic continues. Today I spent 45 mins posing the beast. In Medium this involves hacking your model up and rearranging the bits in space.

Next I move on to detailing. If I can manage to avoid tapping out cos I'm sick of the sight of it, I'm guessing another 3-4 hours. Plus I have another 1 (perhaps 2) characters planned to complete the diorama. Add another hour or two for that shit. Staying motivated is always the deciding factor.

I had a bit of a (waking?) dream at some point about sculpting bas relief images like the stones of Gobekli Tepe but I think it was more like the sculpting in your vids, kind of. Weird thing is that I seem to remember watching someone at work with their bare hands, but don't remember at all WHEN exactly this first appeared in my mind. Definitely sometime in the last couple days. The figure being made didn't seem... terrestrial. It was like living rock or something.
