I posted this in here cos of a mixture of I was really stoned and I only really intended it as a one off thing. It wasn't til I read my second post that I started to see where it could be going. Maybe a mod should move it to operation mindfuck like Cain suggested. That's if anyone else is interested in participating. I'm more or less done now, save any random shit my brain tells me in the near future. It's my baby and as far as I'm concerned the little bastard can go out and fend for himself now. If I ever get handed a Meme Virus^tm flyer or calling card I'll feel smug and proud but bringing him up will seriously fuck with my slacking.

i suggest you to make some initial posts. a polished version of the OP in this thread, but refer to it as something external, that infected you.
if in any way, try and make the language a bit more serious (not using the work "fuck" so much?), use some 20+ year old idiom (look at the PD for an example), print it out in typewriter font, or write it on a piece of paper, scan it, host it on imageshack, and post it as the thing that got you infected.

i'm quite sure some of the more paranoid tinfoil crazies will totally fall for the general idea. not the target demographic as originally intended (their paradigms are shifty enough as it is), but it might be fun to collect a few of these in a forum.

also, while thinking of a successfull memevirus, the Game popped to mind. which i consequently lost. maybe we can work that in as well, as something like how the MemeVirus (drop the TM, it makes it unbelievable, who would trademark this thing? unless you wanna tie up some corporate conspiracy into the mix) how the MemeVirus is trying to infiltrate THE CHILDREN at highschools by pretending it's a funny Game, while in fact it is a DANGEROUS form of playing with (evil!!) memetics.

Yeah, I think there's miles in this, kind of like a pre-programmed viral meme ret-con agent. Preprogrammed, because everyones head is already rattling with dormant memes, and pointing this out in a way that gets the infected person to recognise, will activate all the dormants, and force the new paradigm.
With the added bonus that all the hard work has already been done.
