TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

the spider would have had to make its decision before all the votes were in, right?

based on, we dont take turns like in previous games everyone attacks each other at once. round one spider bites, we vote discordian discords. all at once.  so the spider would have to choose while we were still voting (and would also have to vote)

TECHNICAL NOTE:

Anyone can make their choice at any time. Special players were notified at post 1 of this thread.  They were in contact with me the entire time.  The order they're carried out, however, is Vote>Spider>Discordian.

If a Spider attacked someone who got voted off, then it would simply be redundant.

In other words, you can't use that as a way to tell.

Jasper

I think Cudgel is a spider.  He votes to kill Semaj, and can't get enough votes (three votes, was it? Hmm.) and makes an unconvincing show of remorse.

As an aside, what happens if someone is targeted to be subsumed and converted on the same turn?

LMNO

Spider comes first.  Discordian fails.

it happens in order.  it's not simultaneous, so i would assume that he is subsumed first and discordian chooses someone else, right?
not just a failure?

Jasper

Hrm.

Initiative should be randomized, in a perfect world.
