Eater of Clowns

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts
And I looked and behold, a pale Doktor
And his name that was on him was Roger
And Howl followed with him.

EoC, you are the bane of my existence.

My interpretation might seem short-sighted, but i dont think it is, and i understand that the other interpretation works too.

Im not sure yet what is bugging me about it. Something along the lines that people are idiots like dogs that are better off not moving out of the status quo because they'll just fuck it up.

Dogs are not idiots!

Freedom without responsibility is dangerous.

And freedom without nudity is useless.

So I'm gonna walk the streets of Portland, Oregon naked before I die.

I was wondering what the Apocalypse would look like.

Hairy.

Hrm... The peice was hastily written, and, well, I was really high. I hope the amendments added will clarify my stance. But, on the otherhand, take it as you wil.

I like the amendments.

I think I liked it before, when it was more koan-like.

I like both versions, except that in the first version, well i already pointed it out, while in the second version i think having a talking dog breaks the pace but adds more layers to the meaning of the parable.

In a lot of ways, I agree with you. But, on the other hand, it was written with an intended purpose, and I feel this way is more true to that purpose, but still allows for personal interpretation.

Oddly, the original had a more 'lucid' feel to it.

I may need my head checked.
