the problem is that as soon as I put a permanent symbol on my body, I am nearly certain I will stop identifying with that symbol.

I used to have a litmus test for tattoos - if I had a good tattoo idea, I'd hang onto it for a year. and if in a year's time it still sounded like a good idea, I'd get it. I have yet to find an image which passes this test.


Right now I am evaluating: a pentagon on my right arm, and a golden apple on my left arm.
