I have one pair of shoes, and the heels are worn down at a 30 degree angle.

Does this happen to other guys?

Yep, the outside of my sneakers are worn down at about 30 degrees compare to the inside.

Though, my current shoes are the first pair I've had in a while where no other part of them have fallen apart before the heel.

I have a friend who when you ask always says.... "Shoes define us from the monkeys" and follows it with "Do you know how many pairs of shoes I have?" when you say no she always laughs and says "Neither do I"!

At one time in my life I had over 300 pairs of shoes in my closet.  When my mother died, I donated over 200 pairs of shoes (it still kills me that I couldn't fit them) to the "Dress for Success" program. 

Today, I only have 6 pairs of shoes. It is intentional because if I allow myself to get back into the need, I will buy every damn pair I see whether I need them or not.  Just because I like them. 

I don't think it's as much an addiction as it is something seriously female.  And only females understand the need for a large and varied choice of footwear.
