MysticWicks endorsement: ""Oooh, I'm a Discordian! I can do whatever I want! Which means I can just SAY I'm a pagan but I never bother doing rituals or studying any kind of sacred texts or developing a relationship with deity, etc! I can go around and not be Christian, but I won't quite be anything else either because I just can't commit and I can't be ARSED to commit!"

That's right. Blight's thread inspired me to start this. ITT, tell someone how much you appreciate them being here on PD.

To get the ball rolling:

Blight, I admire your dedication to the GASMs that you participate in. I also appreciate the things you said in my OKM, and I think your thread was a brilliant idea, especially since we tend to forget that we are all people, and not just Internet spags. Keep up the great work.  :)

Nephew Twiddleton

Thanks Phox, this made me smile, and part of the reason why I appreciate you being here.

And so I don't turn into too much of a softy here, I will make no further compliments to anyone within this thread. I'm already doing it elsewhere. :)

I can play along with this...

Rodger's recent bits and pieces have made me want to believe (and sometimes, really believe) in giants, and have given that kick to remind me it's worth working towards deserving the title.

Cram, is probably, for my money, the most exciting Discordian figure around at present.

I can't name everyone involved in Hey Jim/The Spider Project but those two are some of my most favourite works inside or outside of the Discordian context.

On that note Roaring Biscuit; I was never a real fan of the BIP itself, but the 'Musings of a Faceless Man' really put it together in the most wonderful way, and is a favourite of mine.

Also, Net's generosity and work on those wonderful stickers, I'm just stunned (also in a small town so haven't done a lot with them yet).

James is hugely exciting to me just in terms of having very clear drive and vision.

ECH shoots straight without being a dick.

Lysergic gets points for just being in the same country, but I also enjoy as a fellow poster.

Subetai (who possibly doesn't know it; but whose present name can also be understood as 'desire to control' in Japanese) is savagely well informed, and able to articulate that knowledge in very accessible terms for us serfs.

RHWN, to be honest beyond the punnery I love that you're able to give the benefit of your knowledge developed through meaningful work to this board.

Other posters, please don't piddle on me if your name doesn't jump out at me, Nigel, PHox, Twid, Charlie, Yatto, Suu, Khara, Kai... and really everyone, it's so wonderful to see such a variety of intentions, ages, genders, missions etc. I very much would be pleased to meet any of you (with your permissions).

This board has really knocked my creative drive up to a real solid level, kept me thinking and developing ideas, given testing ground and given me a community who I hope to be able to regard, in many ways as artistic contemporaries.

And now, procrastination must stop :(

I thought of some more things to say about some people.

Sir Coyote - You make me laugh in almost every thread you post in. I appreciate your sense of humor, and you add a valuable dynamic to the forum.

Nigel - You are very intelligent and very pretty. You add a lot to any conversation you take part in, and I wish i could be half the person you are one day.

Roger - You made me feel welcome from day one, and I never stopped looking up to you.

Freeky - Though I don't really interact with you much, you make me smile, and I think you are quite pretty.

ECH - You seem like an intelligent guy, and I can't help but laugh when you insult my taste in music.

Kai - You are very smart, and though I don't understand all of the things you post, I generally come away with a new understanding. Also, you are super cute.

LMNO - You contribute a lot, and I like your music.

Semaj - I had a lot of fun with our feud, and I thought your WOMP of me was great.

That is all i have to say for now, but I will think of more to say.

Nephew Twiddleton

Thanks Dingo.  :)

I have two people in mind for this thread if they don't post in mine (Roger and Cram). I'll hold out for a few days, and then post in here anyway if they don't/

The Wizard

Right. Time to spread some good vibes.

Roger-Probably the best writer I know, and someone I'm honored I know, if only in an online sense. In a couple ways, TGRR is the poster here who's had the most impact on me. I've had some of my best conversation here with him, and some of my most frustrating arguments. He caused me to rethink my opinion on the death penalty, and he's reignited my desire to really change things, both locally and globally.

Dingo-One of those people who really does walk the walk. In the time you've been here, you've really impressed me with your ability to get a project done. You've got an ability to just sit down and work that I have to strive at. I really enjoyed your script and can't wait to see what you do next.

Cain/Subetai-Probably the smartest guy I know, and most definitely the most aware. I always keep an eye out for one of Cain's posts, because I know that I'll come away from it both educated and excited. The man has taught me more than my entire High School history course.

Nigel-Haven't always got along with you, but you're still another one of my favorites here. A beautiful woman, both in personality and in appearance. Only a mental defective would not find you likable.

Phox-Enjoyed our vendetta. All in all, you're just a fun person to go up against.

Cram-Brilliant bastard and a very cool guy. Nuff said.

Charlie-Even though he's gone, would like to include him. I really loved his writing, and liked him as a person. Really enjoyed helping him with the WTU thing, even if all I did was send a letter. Really wish he would come back.

Dok Blight-Wins points for his thread, as does Phox, forgot to mention. A real good guy by my reckoning, always there to remind people of the good things.

I love all of  you guys and I love this forum. In the year or so I've been here, you've inspired and challenged me. Finding this forum is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. So, if any of you need a hand with anything, ever, just let me know. I'll do whatever I can to help. I'd follow you guys to hell and back, because you're probably some of the best friends I have.

I'm an optimist, and always will be. I'll be the worst Doktor in PD history. And I agree, you're some of the best friends I've had too. I'll always get your back, any of you, except for Weltburger (even if I did say something nice you Swiss fuckhead), Poptard and Ruby.

All of you RealSpags are automatically cool with me, even if I disagree with you.

Roger- You ultimately inspired my hippie ass thread that spawned this one. I'm actually praying for you.

You're not a dick. You're doing it right. That's what's important. Being a dick is too easy.
