Yarnbombing

Having no idea if this is in the right sort of forum region, because fuck lurking, amirite?

Anyway. I knit. I like knitting a lot. I want to use this for Evil rather than for Producing Warmth for Loved Ones.

Anybody have any information on how this sort of thing works, links to patterns or websites or books or whatnot? Or at least, any particularly devious ideas I could noodle around with during my lonely, drunken evenings?

I guess my advice would be to look at the effect that the yarn has on the space's "vibe". What kind of connotations does a yarnbomb have, what kind of feeling does it create? Then think of a space where you feel it needs that energy. Public places, meeting places, transportation -- all good.
