I think it's funny that people think God would punish an entire state/territory for the actions of one person. Sure, it's not out of character for him, but the rationale seems a bit lacking.

What I never understood is how exactly people are supposed to decipher that its God. God is very picky about who he talks to and most of the time those people are already on the straight and narrow. So hes essentially throwing suffering at people in the blind hope that eventually they figure out what theyre doing wrong.

I think he just likes to destroy stuff and needs an excuse. Hence him always making his messengers look insane to a rational person. He doesn't want us to stop, Glittersnatch. He loves to see us fall short of his expectation, so he can take another swipe at us. Hence all of his unreasonable rules. But it's getting ok now. There are too many of us for him to keep track of all the time. Near as I can tell, Boston wasn't destroyed by fire from heaven when we legalized gay marriage (and maybe God ran out of kerosene). Snow storms to prevent gay activities maybe, but I would think that if two gay men are stuck in a house together with the power out, that will encourage gay activities. Maybe he likes New England. Of course, that's just as dangerous. We've all seen what good God's love is for his chosen people.   :scared:
