Well, if anyone wants to take another run at a political site I can suggest politicalpanic dot com.  I've been there for a few months now.  It's basically the new community for Political Crossfire which imploded a few months ago.  There are some fun conservatards over there to poke and a couple of brainless libs as well.  They could stand a little more Discord.

I'm there, we'll see how long I last this time.

I think subcultural groupings would be a good place to start. Also perhaps hobby groups that tend to lean towards the weird. This, of course, is more from a standpoint of attracting people. In terms of just pure trolling, few people get as uptight as quickly as people on professional craftsmens' forums (furniture makers, chefs, fashionistas, etc.)

They've got some good ideas to do with patterns, and DEFINATELY will have some of us there, but they tend to shoot off into tinfoil territory quickly.

Well, I haven't been banned, and I do rather like to push Lumina.  I did get suspended once.  I'll warn you that she isn't exactly a fair arbiter and really doesn't like it when you show her up.  Also watch out for User Unfriendly.  He just got modded and takes it very seriously.
