BadBeast blows Sean Bean's cool guy badass 'tude ITT.

ITT we learn that BadBeast once had an unpleasant encounter with Sean Bean.

:lulz:  Yeah, that too.

Triple Zero

I just watched this shit. It's pretty cool, even though it's nothing but sex violence gore and scheming :)

I think the dwarf's my favourite. I hope he sticks around for a while.

I don't get why everybody got so upset over killing Boromir? He totally had it coming. I mean sure it was the bad guys that did it, and he and his family are supposed to be the good guys, but really? Being all "my family this" and "my honour that", what a load of crap, and meanwhile everybody around was scheming like it was going out of scope. If he wanted to be the good guy he should have chosen the Realm over his family or honour.

Well, it was cool. When's the next season start?

Casting began a few months ago for some new characters.  The woman they cast as Margery Tyrell is smoking hot and her eyes make me wet myself.

The first season began in April of this year, I expect season 2 will be around the same time next year.

Have you seen Spartacus:  Blood & Sand or Spartacus: Gods of the Arena?
That show has the market cornered on the sex, violence, and scheming.

I think the point the first series/book was getting across is that this isn't a world for people with the standard fantasy tropes of 'honor' and 'good guyness'.
I think the fate of Viserys was also to demonstrate that this may not quite be the world for the typical fantasy villain too.

They are filming here, I'm thinking of applying to be an extra.

Do it!

Breaking news: Faust cast as Stannis Baratheon.

Also the fifth book should be out in 7 days.  I've had that fucker on pre-order from Amazon for 3 years now.

Faust

Who knows maybe I'll be discovered and make it big. Is that the last book or is there one more to come out?

Supposedly 2 more.

I heard Gerard Butler was cast as Stannis Baratheon.  Which could work.

THIS!  IS!  DRAGONSTONE!

EoC doesn't make creepy.

EoC makes creepy worse.

Two more, I believe.

It was originally intended to be a trilogy, but, obviously, plot inflation made that impossible.  As I recall, this book was the "second half" of A Feast for Crows.  Which does not explain at all why it took five years to get it to the publisher.

Space Cowboy is going to fucking wet himself. He's been waiting for that book forever.

It was only a matter of time...

My friend is going to be Petyr Baelish, and I've been asked to be Catelyn Stark.

Well, I got my sewing work cut out for me. FUCK. Well, Catelyn's dress is easy except those weird front seams, but Baelish is something else.

Decided I'm going to get the Kindle version of A Dance With Dragons.  That way, it'll arrive instantly on the day it comes out.  And since I'm going to be doing a ton of travelling between the 13th and 15th, that'll give me an excellent chance to catch up on it.

And I can buy the paperback version for my dad when he catches up, which will be sometime next year at this stage.

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

I fucking love my Kindle! Weighs less than a paperback, fits in my purse, and already has 200 books on it.
