* Her 'Real Americans Slot' on FOX disappeared after one episode.
* Her appearances on FOX don't bump the ratings like they used to.

* The whole Arizona/Giffords/Blood Libel thing damaged her currency.

She's still going to make a shit ton of money from speaking engagements(!). She'll make some money from the books too, though her first big book was a bestseller only due to that classic publisher's scam: Buy back your own stock and sell the rest to the public at a 30% discount.

Palin's irrelevancy is coming, which means that of her children is close behind.(Do you remember Bristol's boyfriend? No...of course not because he's off the radar.) According to the article, Republican insiders are entirely uninterested in her running in 2012. Palin's people are like 'She might run...because she's so wacky & unpredictable...We just don't know!' but that is code for 'she has done precisely nothing towards exploring or planning a campaign'.

You're absolutely right, the American Dream 2.0 is to make bank for no good reason. In fact, ADv2.0 is to amass a fortune in way that is diametrically opposed to good reason. (Paris Hilton earning approx $5million per year for being 'herself'.)

All that has to happen is for Justin Beiber to swear on a live broadcast, get caught with a beer, or dye his hair and that will swallow up massive amounts of coverage, depriving Bristol Palin of any air time. If her new show hits TV, it'll tank in one season. For her sake, I hope she has a good accountant or financial planner, because Palin-mania is so 2008 and the moment has passed. If she has any brains at all (subject to debate) she will have stashed away a big pile to keep her in the future - or she'll end up working at Radio Shack or something.

Well, it's hard to blame her.  She just learned by watching her Mom.  Doing something that matters, like say being a Governor, just doesn't mean anything compared to getting your mug on TV as often as possible for whatever reason.  Real jobs are for losers.  (Have someone else) write a book, mug for the cameras, .... , profit.
