Can't remember offhand if I posted this in MW's poetry thread or not.

"Memnoch's a mystical wick,
with an acorn instead of a dick,
his poor little dong,
is but half an inch long,
and only a quarter inch thick.

Memnoch can often be found,
on the shakiest moral high ground,
spouting fatuous guff,
about ethics and stuff,
but his viewpoint is sick and unsound

Mystikwick's moral crusader,
(an educational 5th grader)
the mighty,Memnoch,
having sex with a sock,
in a cellar, dressed up as Darth Vader"

Worth a ban really, to post it again anyway. Except that I'd miss the card games in the Arcade. (All I've signed in for in the last 5 months)

Set up a proxied throw away account and post it.
I'll have to  re-read my "How to proxy" thing again, so I'll do it when I get a minute. Probably tonight. See how long it takes before it's wiped. I did one for someone else there too, got  a temp ban for that.

He was stationed in Lake Tahoe.  :lulz:

Oddly enough, I cannot find any reference to any military facilities near Lake Tahoe.
Oh shit.

I meant it like he was in a puddlle of piss a good part of the time.

QuoteAnother interesting question then for those who have served is do you want to readjust to the civilian world? I only served a year, and have been out for over 11 years, and it wasn't until a few years ago when I was comfortable adjusting to certain aspects of the civilian world. In other words I didn't WANT to change many of the aspects I developed in the military. I can only imagine how much more intense it would have been if I had been in for a full term, or even a career.

There aren't enough facepalms to cover that.

Where did you spend your training time/posts at?

I know nothing about military and am curious.

Me, same thread. Just want to see what he says.

He usually ignores my posts, especially when I state things that could possibly make him look like shit.

In the UK, the least you can sign up for (I think) is 4 years. They usually spend at least a year training you up to any level of usefulness. I suspect he's talking about The Salvation Army.

Not sure about the lower ranks, but you can sign up to be an officer for five years (after a year of training).

I suspect these are the guys who are offloaded in Helmand Province, going by our performance there.
