Personally I've always felt it's always best to keep every "rule" very simple.

1. No porn
2. No spam
3. No plagarism

Then follow with a little advice of. Respect is earned not freely given. Expect to be treated as you treat others. You have a problem deal with it. If you can't solve it yourself then and only then ask management to intervene.


Otherwise this is the internet and we're all grownups. Share the playground.

That's what we're trying for.  There are only two rules.  The Spirit of the Forum is meant to be a snapshot of what we are hoping for, not something to beat people over the head with.  All the discussion here helped us get that clarified a bit because obviously how we were seeing it wasn't how other people did.
