Honestly, just think about all of the mascots McDonald's has used and created over the years. 

Grimmace, Mayor McCheese, The Hamburgler, the fry guys, that stupid bird thing, I think there was some kind of pirate too...

It's like McDonald's mined the Kroft reject bin for its mascots.
