I just closed a trouble ticket in the best way possible: by outlasting the person that filed it.

"Mr. Smith" had filed a ticket for a minor email issue about a month ago, yet never actually had time to troubleshoot the issue with me, or even remote me in so I could fix it. I just received notice today that Mr. Smith had been terminated, effective immediately.
