Then there's about 4 pages of people explaining why I am a terrible person and why everything is all my fault.

We should as a group, come up with a list of 5 (or more) really good "Why you are banned" responses.  And let them be the standard reply.  then all you ever have to say again is the membership has spoken

I didn't see AKK do anything against the rules besides be a colossal dickhead with a pathological inability to shut the fuck up or let anyone else get the last word on anything.

BUT, if he expressed an intent to deliberately do things that were both completely fucked and could possibly get ECH or Faust in legal trouble, then I see zero problem with banning his obnoxious ass.

I came to the conclusion pretty quickly that I was going to ignore him and he was going to end up getting rebanned sooner or later anyway. Looks like it ended up being sooner.

I look at it this way.  There are people still here who are lucky I have no input into the decision making.  So I don't question when any of the admins do something because I trust them to have PD's (not their own agenda, PD and it's continuation) best interest in mind.

I was concerned initially, because like Cainad, I didn't see him do anything against the rules and because, honestly, I think his demeanor this time around was much less annoying than when he first arrived.  But, for what it's worth, if he was intent on doing something to get Faust, ECH, etc. in trouble then it was obviously warranted.

That said, I do think some people here were looking to be annoyed by AKK.  I think part of it is simple human nature and curiousity.  Let's face it.  AKK has been built up as a character over the years.  There are many people on the boards now that weren't around when that stuff actually happened.  It just felt like some folks were itching right away to get riled up, to be part of that legend. 

I could be completely wrong, but it's just what I observed. 

Again, I'm not saying this to disagree with the banning, but I really think some folks, some newer folks, decided before he even posted all that much that they were going to be offended by him. 

And if you are looking to be offended and annoyed, well, chances are you will be.
