Several times a month, I will be in a store aisle reaching for something and feel a hand going up the inside of my thigh. It sounds rather a lot like faith...which to some seasoned post-modernists always sounds equal parts deranged, foolish and foolhardy.  Given human history.  But I like the quote you gave above, as well, Cain...it inspires us to not give up just yet.
