The dude is just not that malicious, and even if he was, he's not together enough to come up with a farfetched scheme like porn spamming Bella and Liam's accounts... which he most likely never knew anything about, not being an EB&G guy.

I find the idea that Yatto was behind the pr0n bombing also very unlikely, given all of the above.

I would have no objection to Yatto coming back, so long as he isn't going to be an arse concerning copyright (and he seems to have changed his mind about this).  To be honest, I did feel bad about banning him, since I've never had a problem with Yatto before that incident and he's never been openly malicious in the way AKK or some others have been, but he wasn't exactly backing down at the time.

But the decision isn't mine alone to make.

I got one of those fb posts once where if you click the link, it automatically spams the same link to all your friends' accounts. It was Yatto who explained to me that even though it was a kind of virus my computer itself wasn't infected with anything and that all I had to do was change my password and delete the posts from my friends' walls. I think if he's capable of grasping that and explaining it, he's got enough brain cells to download porn and spam it.

I know Yatto can be really annoying and has certainly shown bad judgment. But I think the evidence is pointing to him not having porn-bombed anyone, and frankly, having met him, I do not sense a malicious bone in his body. The guy is 100% the fool, definitely kind of crazy, and oddly gullible/naive... but not mean or malicious. I would like to go out on a limb and advocate for allowing him to come back to the board so he can properly apologize to Dok for saying he was going to use his work after Dok revoked permission.

Obviously, since that was the reason he was banned, and it was a legitimate reason, I say this with all respect for Dok's wishes, and of course it was ECH's decision to ban so he would be the one to make that decision, ultimately. But I feel for the poor guy, because he fucked up, and then right after the fuckup, while tempers were still high, he seems to have fallen by sheer bloody fucked-up luck into a marathon comedy of errors that led to him being strung up like a Moosemas turkey over something that not only did HE not do, but it even appears now that NOBODY did it.

Now, if anyone else steps forward and says that they received porn PMs from him, then I will have to reconsider advocating for him. But if not, man...  this is the weirdo that brought us the pention meme.

I've hung out with him IRL before and I agree with the "he's not malicious, just has terrible judgment" line of thought. I'd already had conversations with him about being reinstated here and I have no problem with it but as I see it, it's ultimately up to Dok and Cain since they're the ones whose material he jacked and/or threatened to jack. If they're willing to forgive him or at least allow him to come back and offer a proper apology I'm happy to un-ban him.

He can be annoying as all hell, but I kind of like him. In the same way you'd be hard-pressed not to like a rambunctious puppy even after he pees on your foot.

He's not stupid. Sure, if he were motivated to do so, he would be completely capable of downloading porn and spamming it. So would I. But how would he even be aware of Bella and Liam's accounts? It's just a real stretch. And the complete lack of details makes me even more skeptical. "every single Discordian-affiliated email and website" were "spammed with porn"? That doesn't even make sense. How do you spam a website (other than a forum that allows image posting) with porn? And what was the return path of the email address that they were allegedly spammed from? I get hundreds of spam emails daily... my mailreader doesn't automatically open the images. There is NO connection between "classic tubgirl/scatporn" and redtube videos. Bella never even mentioned videos, and redtube doesn't have "classic tubgirl/scatporn".

Basically, I call bullshit in the entirety. Maybe Bella wasn't lying, but she was certainly either highly confused or deliberately misrepresenting.

AKK got back to me about it. His response was "I don't believe that Brian did it. I was accused of doing it, too, but while I may be a dick, I'm not a malicious dick."

So, really, I think it boils down to Bella and Liam being paranoid/delusional, thinking they were under attack and using it as an excuse to distance themselves from Charley and Dok.
