TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

In the darkness of a small, windowless room, a silent figure crouched on the floor in front of a tiny hole. Dust motes danced in and out of a beam of light shooting up from the hole. Sounds filtered up with the light.
Two voices. One deep and angry. The other higher and shaking with fear.
"Why? Why would she do this?"
"Who knows with her! She hasn't made sense in years now."
"Yeah, but this?! This is too much!"
The figure leaned forward, head tilting. A smile.
Footsteps from below.
"I don't know what to tell you." The deep voice sounded tired, and a little uneasy. "Let's just go. We still have a lot of work to do."
"Do you sense it too?"
A pause. "Yes."
A shiver of pleasure at the fear in that deep voice. Teeth bared in the darkness. Faint, skittering sounds in the walls. Then silence. An odor of rotting garbage drifted through the now heavy air.
More footsteps now. Hurried. Panicked. Then the sound of a door being jerked open and slammed shut.

Suddenly golden light filled the room. Startled, the figure looked back over a dusty, hunched shoulder.
A tall woman stood in a stone arch doorway that had appeared at the other end of the room. A puzzled frown creased her forehead.
"What are you doing?"
The figure stood up slowly and turned to face the doorway.
"Nothing." The vaguely childlike voice held a wet, ripping undertone. Huge, black eyes stared innocently up at her.
Eris's eyes narrowed. "Don't ruin your appetite. I have something brewing."
The light vanished.
