I'm looking for the series of posts about somebody's pilgrimage to the Brunswick shrine in Whittier CA, the location where Discordia was ehhh "discovered". There were pictures. Anybody know where that thread is?

No, it was somebody on this board ... might have been Placid Dingo? somebody who lives in California. They visited the Brunswick shrine and posted a bunch of pictures from it.

One of you CA spags help me out here. Who else lives in CA?




As a side note, that link which Pope Tom just posted is a great read. It shows us an image of Mal and Omar when they were still too young to drink. That's where the Discordian society started, it was a group of teenagers hanging out in a bowling alley (because they were open all night) in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

Found it with Payne's help! Turns out it was Narot. and he only posted one pic. I think he shared more in IRC, but I'll need to track him down. He hasn't been here since April.
