Making fun of the fact that 4chan etc were full of child porn for years.  There was a time you couldn't go in /b/ without seeing a thread of the stuff, and when moot finally started banning, a whole bunch of pedo 4chan offshots were founded.

And we're talking the proper stuff here as well, not teenage girls being stupid with their mobile phone cameras.  For a very long time, Anonymous were synonymous with child porn.

They really took a different turn at some point, just about with the Fox "Internet Hate Machine" clip and Chanology. I'd almost say, before it was /b/, and then it was Anon. When did Moot start banning the pedos? Maybe that's what changed the atmosphere?

Whoever implemented Operation Darknet, it obviously needed doing, and I applaud them for it. Governments are all saying how they're up for regulating Internet activity, but never actually managed anything as effective as this. Only manage to spy on everyone. They don't care about taking down online paedo rings, because it gives them a perfect excuse for false flag regulations designed to monitor everyone else. Anon have the power, the expertise, and now, it looks like they are developing some genuine mature and moral perspective. All this is good news for the good people, and bad news for the bastards. And yes, of course I realise how interchangeable those terms are, but fuck it, props where props are due. Some good guys took down a whole bunch of the lowest cunts that there are. And in doing so, showed the authorities up for the inneffectual bragging bullshitters that they are. Yippee aye yo!

That's what I meant; the good guys willing to claim the Anonymous moniker seem to have reached a point where they far outweigh the bad guys who are willing to claim it. And, they have the skills and numbers to actually do some good.
