I don't think it had to go downhill like that. It might have done so anyway, but the way we behaved here was not our usual MO and it absolutely guaranteed that it would go that way.

I poked around T.info and Zoklet a bit this morning, and I have to say that, while the emphasis on porn, drugs, and doing illegal things for money still screams "I'm a 16-year-old suburbanite who thinks talking about this makes me cool", both of them suck significantly less than T2. My guess is that T2 consists entirely of the kiddies that were run off of the better forums for lame behavior, and that pretty much explains everything.

Well, according to Wikipedia, some of the short-term effects of alcohol are "Impaired judgment", "Impaired memory and comprehension", "Profound confusion", "Emotional lability" and "a reduced ability to evaluate the consequences of their behavior".

Do you think maybe that could be the reason?

Well, Easy, it's like this:  Almost everyone gets stupid when they drink.  It's just that most people don't decide to smash the ban button flat when that happens.

What's pissing me off isn't the ban; It's not like we've never been banned anywhere for insufficient ass-kissing towards the mods, or because a mod lost an argument.  What's pissing me off is Fang publishing Nigel's personal information, and Riv3r giggling about trying to get her social security number.  Frankly, if that's how the mods treat IP numbers/PI (ie, broadcasting it every time they get drunk), then I - for one - have no interest in the ban being lifted, as I won't be going back in any case, so long as Fang is a mod.  

What's really funny is that we started out thinking he was the one rock n roller ont hat board, despite our differences.  Then he pussed out and slammed the ban button/PI posting.  So, yeah, no reason to go back.  Internet pussies can be found anywhere.

We got banned because Fang is a big, drippy pussy.

And GP was involved in the argument, which is why we were IP banned.

Again, no need to do anything as far as I'm concerned, except get on Fang's ass for posting Nigel's info.  I also wouldn't trust him with IP addie access, either, if I were you.

And if you want traffic on your board, maybe he's not the right man for the mod job.  Just saying.  Nobody that's worth having will put up with mods who pick fights and then ban people that fight back.
