Somebody apparently needs a refresher course on the whole checks and balances thing.

When a gay voter asked Gingrich about how he could support Newt given his staunch anti-gay stance, Newt responded that heshould vote for Obama.

(Bonus fact reported in the article which I didn't know, Newt has a half sister who is a lesbian.  This, IMHO, dumps him on the pile with McCain under "how can you so deeply hate something that is part of someone you (should) love?")
