Just going to jump in and say  there is no way that a 14 year old is going to look like a 21 year old to anyone with any sort of sense. And there is no reason that a minor should be deported for anything unless his or her parents are deported. It's not only retarded but puts the kid's life at risk too. I can see not accurately gauging a teenager's age when you get older, but there is no mistaking a 14 year old for anything but a teenager. There's a reason why you get carded if you're under 27, and in some instances, 40.

I've always looked older than I was.
At 14 I was mistaken for a senior in high school. My freshman year of high school there were both students and adults thinking I was a teacher.
I didn't even get carded when I turned 21 and had my first drink, which was kind of a bummer actually.

I didnt get carded at all on my 21st birthday. But i got carded everytime after for the rest of that year. I think its a confidence thing. You have a look on your face that says "im buying a beer and you cant stop me!" and they go "right this guy is getting a motherfucking beer!" i imagine ech had that look. "im supposed to be buying beer. If you obstruct me i will kill you."

In all fairness, she DID have a false identity that corresponded to a Colombian citizen. That doesn't excuse ICE from accepting everything at face value without doing anything to confirm her identity.
