Somehow I don't think it works that way.

If Canada claimed you, evidently they would. I had a friend way back in the good ol' INS days who was Canadian born and wanting to go back so he had the bright idea of getting his ticket paid for by getting deported. I spoke to him once while he was detained at INS, and he had already been there 30 days. Don't know how long it took for Canada to let him in, but that's what he was waiting for.

I'd wager that the standards for verifying Colombian citizenship are a might less stringent than those Canada employs.

What you probably do not know, or care about at all, is that I have carefully read and considered every single point 3-000 took the time to write to me, calling me out on that impulse post I made, specifically the bell curve one, which I considered at the time to be a stupid troll for math geeks, but after having one actually call me out on it I realized I wasn't even close to thinking about it the way any mathematician would.

I stopped responding at that point.  I should have admitted I was wrong if I wanted to hope to be accepted by this discordian community as a biped.  I'm not sure I did at that moment, or that I do now.

Well, Pickles, here's the thong. I took a little time to think it over. And I came to a decision. I'm not the least bit sorry. The reason for this is because every damn word I said is true. ANd given your public post in response to me, I don't really get the sense that you are actually any different than what you were. (I mean, really, you can't even publicly apologize for publicly calling someone out?) Whether you were rightly offended about dismissing you for something you posted while drunk, the simple fact remains that you can't have it both ways, like you tried in your response to DS. You seemed to be saying that you take offense to being judged by what you wrote when you were drunk (FYI, it's not BECAUSE you were drunk that we harsh on you, it's what you SAID), then you say that it was thought out beforehand while you were sober, AND that you actually believe at least part of it. In vino veritas.

Unlike you, I don't need to take a drink before I say what's really on my mind. For the record: 14 year old kids who run away from home are quite likely to lie. They are unlikely to want to return to their parents, especially to a broken home, and doubly so if they feel it's their fault. Lying hr way into a job and to get deported isn't that much of stretch. They clearly fucked up when they deported her before actually verifying her identity. You expect a 14 year old kid to be able to think rationally enough to realize that lying to get deported is a bad idea? No, she was thinking "Lie, get to Colombia, be happy". IS that stupid? Yes. She's a fucking teenager.

And in a slightly unrelated note: the consent laws in Colombia have absolutely jack and shit to do with whether or not she can actually give consent. In a place where there are no consent laws at all, a man has sex with a four year old are you going to try to argue that it wasn't rape?
