specplot(p,fs) specgram(y)

Look i have Much trouble UNderstanding this

My Main problem seams to be how to calibrate X&Y axis scales

I guess the first one has a logarithmic version of the second on the y axis, while the x axis remains just a linear transformation from first to second ( factor vs fractions )?

.1 i did do the dartmouth math & did not understand hist(x)

3? this said, my guess aRe about as follows

A yellow on black Y=%percent amplitude x=%frequency

B yellow on red y Freq x time

A takes the preliminary step of FFT Fast Foryay? Transform

i do NOT exactly understand FFT.ing as it may have tweeks

& i don't trust it anyway as it assumes discreet F_o A B C D E F G

& THUS DOES NOT cope well with constant pitch change as occurs

in bird chirp for example
