I'm way past excuses. I'm not even aware of what I'm doing half the time. The other day my coworker was wondering out loud why he hasn't gotten a raise after 3 years, and I just blurted out that his H1B status means he's at the mercy of our corporate overlords and they love that cheap brown labor, like it wasn't a big secret nobody's supposed to talk about.
