TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

"Invest in a revolting future!"

Do to recent education related fuck-wittery in NZ, I've been throwing around the idea of making advertisements for DUPA, the Discord University and Polytechnic Academy.

I have a flyer here but no means to scan it but here's the gist.

"(person) Endorses DUPA!"

Person: I got my certificate in Managing Debt by Theft at DUPA!

"DUPA, invest in a "revolting" future."

*picture of endorsing person preparing to throw a molotov at a billboard for NZ University which says: LEARN DEBT AT NZU!*

I felt that the increasing neo-liberalism of education here required a response. Namely one that shows what higher education is going to get you here. I also think that DUPA could be international, since higher (and lower) education is basically fucked in quite a few places.

Thoughts, ideas?

"Senator, is it true that a multi-national, Discordicorp, that has paid millions of dollars into your last 5 campaigns has been also linked to your Alma mater DUPA?"
"I have no comment"

I love your idea, though its the classes that get me more than the schools themselves [which would most likely never happen no matter how cool].

As for the classes, like 'Debt Management' its shows promise and sounds like the kind of lectures that are given at the Maybe Logic Academy...

Perhaps developing the class names list and getting random people to contribute Essays would be the way to go.

A Discordia lecture series in any form would be genius and a great way to inspire other Discordians and Free Thinkers to take control of their lives and start the take over!
