I would be more interested in less hyperbole, and more scientific papers, because I understand the technicalities and am less interested in the bluster.

I mean, as a person who is very interested and currently training in transgenic methods, if I could find some of the papers he claimed to have published in highly available journals, I would be interested in reading them.
