"Billy, when I say that ethics is our number one priority and safety is also our number one priority, you should take that to mean exactly what I said. Also quality. That's our number one priority as well. Don't look at me that way, you're in the corporate world now and this is how it works."

Some yahoo yelled at me, saying 'GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH', and I thought, "I'm feeling generous today.  Why not BOTH?"

Reminds me of a bumper sticker I saw today: "Democrats for Bush/Cheney!"

Naw.

More like "Phages for the destruction of Fat City".

But... my elements... my precious elements...

I imagine most people reading it will not understand your use of the
term Fat City. I would suggest qualifying it more in the first instance.

I think, also, "destitute by 2008", is hyperbole, likely to be something the
uninformed can latch onto to dismiss your entire argument. Assuming
they read that far. Which they won't. Still, I would change or drop it.

Just a silly gnome's take. Otherwise, quite nice.

You might drop it by the Nuvo board here in Indianapolis. I've tried to
post on there a couple of times, but the liberals/neo-cons are so busy
calling each other names that they don't notice satire when it smacks
them in the face. Very frustrating.  http://www.nuvo.net/forums/

Thanks.  Think I just might.

Thanks for the tips, too...but this isn't a persuasive piece.

No, sometimes a mocking schadenfreude piece is really just a mocking schadenfreude piece.

I almost bought this but then I noticed the misspelling of the word ford... no Texan redneck would do that.
Constitution?!?!? Isn't that a D&D stat.

Roger, if you can bring yourself to stomach the Motley Fool community, I'd love to hear about someone else running across it on the Political Asylum board.  (I stay waaaaay the hell away from it.  And way the hell away from all their financial boards, too.  I'm just there to chat with the queers and pagans and belly dancers.   )

I *think* they still give out 30-day freebie trial memberships.  If not, give me the word and I'll spam it on your behalf.  They keep comping my membership; I've got nothing to lose. :D
