If your culture is based on insanity, why would you expect members of that culture to remain sane?

The headline makes it look like "OMG SCHOOL SHOOTING ARE OUR CHILDREN SAFE? ZERO TOLERANCE!", but it was actually a guy who lived near the campus and was being evicted. And it's possible the poor bastard got pushed until he flipped.

If your culture is based on insanity, why would you expect members of that culture to remain sane?

The thing that always struck me is we were brought up, from an early age, with "fighting never solves anything", from teachers and parents and all manner of educators. Meanwhile the lesson we're learning from news at 6 is that, on an international stage, fighting is pretty much the only way to solve problems. When put to the test I learned that, indeed, fighting was a surefire way to solve most problems but it generally brings a whole lot of other problems to the table along with it.

It is perhaps worth noting that sometimes you have to rebuild the dream


Because when you build it the first time, it gets in the way of somebody else building their dream.
