That this week it's the 11th anniversary of that thing we're never, ever supposed to forget.  Well, I remembered, so I guess this means I'll be on Santa Uncle Sam's Good List for another year.
Cynicism is a blank check for failure.

Ah the American deathcult. I would have missed it myself until I looked at my calendar and asked myself what the hell Patriot Day was.

There's a difference between remembering and not forgetting.

Remember the Alamo!

Never Forget 9/11!

Can anyone tell me 3 similarities between these two events?

Ah, the Lithuanian civil war, and the fateful day that the sinister Teutonic knights laid siege to Vilnius.

9/11/1389.  NEVER FORGET

Texans remember both of them?

1.  Both events occurred with no good guys on either side.

2.  The defenders/victims were engaged in one form of slavery or another.

3.  Both events were used as rationalizations for massive acts of international armed robbery.

Also, there's been a lot of bad country songs written about both events.

For the sake of economic efficiency, I suggest country artists write songs about how Mexicans flew planes into the Twin Towers (location: Houston), leading to the Texan Revolution in Central Asia.

It's a sure way to get yourself on Huckabee, though, you may need to sit out any actual live performance and let the Huckster handle bass duties.
